Hole Two

PAR 4, 410 M, INDEX 1

Hole Two

Hole Descriptions

Hole 2 is the longest par 4 of the nine, but will play somewhat easier than its stipulated length, due to a downhill tee shot with a level change of some 9 metres. Shorter hitters who place their ball down the left side of the fairway will obtain a healthy kick-on forward and to the right, to what is the optimum line of approach, from the centre-right of the fairway.

Longer hitters will be challenged to fly the ball to the bottom of the valley, which will require an accurate shot to a small area of fairway partially surrounded by bunkers on the right side.

The uphill approach shot to the green will be via a narrow valley to a green flanked on the left by a bunker, but with an ample bail-out zone short and to the right of the green, which is partially hidden by a large bunker short right of the green.

A very strategic golf hole, the 2nd will truly challenge the long hitters whilst providing several forgiving options for short hitters and high handicappers.
